The Assignment
Head out after a party that left for Camp Mellem yesterday. Two got separated during a sandstorm. Locate them and bring them back to safety

Mission Summary
- The party pushed to get involved in the investigation for the source of the Undead Invasion. The Captain told them about the missing people and they decided that would at least get them outside of the walls and might give them some clues.
- In case of emergency, were given a teleportation stone.
- They spent most of the day strategizing and picking up supplies.
- The next day, they headed out. Near midday, just off the road, they found a broken up campsite. Investigating it, it all looked rather recent and unused. Unfortunately not salvageable because of the damage caused by the storm.
- While looking around the area, they spotted a camel who was roped to a post and being attacked by scorpions. They managed to rid the camel of his enemies only to be ambushed by a much larger Scorpion. They dispatched of it as well, but took some damage.
- They saw smoke rising from nearby. As they located the source, a snuffed out torch, they found an entrance into a structure inside of a dune. Looking around the area, looks like there are quite a few others similar small dunes.
- Inside, they found a teleportation circle, 16 stone caskets, and a hulking machine that was carrying dead bodies on it, including the two missing people. They left the mound as they didn’t want to confront the construct. However, a sandstorm was beginning and they had no choice but to re-enter. Once they did, it teleported away.
- They did the same, but only Svamp and the camel returned to Sydund.
