The Elven Ruin – Agents of B.E.A.R.D. 037

The Assignment

Shinichi and Moira are transferred to Camp Mellem Klitterne alongside Skilly and Zilis, to investigate a newly found ruin in the heart of the desert. This one has Elven writing, so being able to read and decipher Elven script is a must.

Mission Summary

• Once entering into ruin, they found a room with pegs on the wall. Likely to hang cloaks, all empty except one which holds a shield. It has elven inscription “Listen with Your Heart”.
• Behind a locked door, they find a small closet, with one of the walls being a secret door. Behind it, Skilly runs into 3 large centipedes in a storage room. Clearing those out, they moved into a hallway. Moira explored to the right. Skilly went up to the north. Zilis and Shinichi look at a locked door to the left. Door to the south has an elvish inscription: “Make Sure Your Notes Are Sharp As Arrows”. It is also locked. Zilis picks the lock and Skilly enters in, which sets off a trap and two statues holding crossbows let go hitting him. Shinichi enters in and plays a song on his lute, causing a secret door to open in the back.
• Entering there, they find a tomb: a sarcophagus with a body holding an elven bow, a statue holding magical concertina, a table holding a pouch of coins. Under is a broad leaf carving on the table. To the side of the room are 3 crypts.
• They went up to the north of the hallway. Zilis picked the lock and entered in, which triggered another trap. One, the door to the south west opened up causing sand to pour in splitting the party. It also locked the door behind Zilis and opened another where an undead creature walked out and attacked. The party were able to regroup and take out the guy, but Zilis was badly injured.
• In the last room, they found a fountain and a stream of fresh water. Behind was a table that held potions.
