The Assignment

Escort the NEW new mayor of Crystal Head, Gardain Strongheart from Hovedstad to his new home south of Whitmor. Keep an eye out for Red Knives and Shifters.

Mission Summary

• The party delivered the map to the Records Guild. They instructed the Adventurers Guild that Ogres could come to the surface and to send guards to protect the city. Also: look for locations where the ogres could be relocated outside of town.
• They entered back in through the church’s cellar.
• In one of the rooms, which they think was a Chapel, had a bowl with religious significance, and more murals of the waterfall landing on a tree trunk. There were also open and broken caskets, seemingly pulled down from the surface. Tracks lead further into the dungeon.
• In another room, they met a “mushroom man”, which they named “Cappy”. He was trapped there by spiders that followed him through a ravine that had opened up in the center of the dungeon. They dispatched the spiders allowing Cappy to return home. He let them know that Ogres had returned into the Ravine. As well as seeing another large creature, which had metal sticking out of it and was covered with bodies.
• After a short rest, they saw a large, metal construct, with bodies impaled on it’s back and shoulders was leaving through the ravine. They didn’t engage.
• They located a mural which depicted dragons fighting giants, with a party (Dragonborn, Dwarf, Elf, Firbolg, and Orc) looking on from a tree line.
