Escort the NEW new mayor of Crystal Head, Gardain Strongheart from Hovedstad to his new home south of Whitmor. Keep an eye out for Red Knives and Shifters.

Mission Summary

• The party had a tenday of downtime to handle their individual business:
• Khalgrim talked to patrons of the Adventurers Guild tavern to get current news and rumors. Found out about the overall tension in the guild related to the shifters, as well as the political push for an official “Thieves Guild”. Also learned about the Iron Shortage that seems to be coming soon. Though, a new surface vein of iron was spotted in the mountains north of Whitmor and a new mine is possibly going to open there once some of the area is cleared of baddies.
• Wisp visited with the High Alchemist and Aerdeth of the Jewelers Association to follow up in their involvement in the previous murder case. Found out both were heading to Crystal Head to investigate what they are mining there.
• Vels visited with other Dragonborn members from the House of Dusk. He asked them to deliver a message to other members in the mountains for a potential meeting.
• They met with the Guild of Records to discuss the findings related to the statuette they found. An “expert” from Easton was sent in as it seemed Dragonborn-adjacent. He was Rhogar, an old friend of Vels. It was determined it was best if he kept on to the statue instead of selling it to the guild.
• They then received their mission. Seemed discretion was of great importance as their passenger was “not normal”.
• They met up with the caravan 3 days later to start their journey.
